Ms. Staceys Preschool Program

Hello! I am Ms. Stacey and I am the Preschool 1 teacher. I have been teaching at Bright Beginnings for 4 years. I am from Beavercreek, Ohio and I graduated from Wright State University with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy a plethora of hobbies, including contra dancing, bicycling, letterboxing, and camping.

In our Preschool 1 class, we believe that playing is the best way to learn. We enjoy a diversity of games and activities that help us practice skills like art, fine and gross motor skills, dramatic play, science and math, social studies, language literacy and music. We begin our day with circle time where we learn how to count, identify letters, and the days of the week. Through out the day we may cook up a yummy science project, play a matching game, count, cut and glue, and learn basic computer skills during our rotation into computer lab. Preschool 1 also practices good emotional and social skills. Sharing and using our manners in class is just as important as our other academic skills. I look forward to this preschool year. I know my class will grow and have lots of fun.
